Parents need to learn technology and games. GTA IV won't ruin your life. If anything the lack of violence in video games should be a concern. I know from personal experience that playing GTA has emptied the thought of actually commiting Grand Theft Auto, Homicide or any of the illegal things possible with Grand Theft Auto. Another example would be Halo. Hey i hate this guy at school, I'll add him as a friend and snipe his head off releasing that anger towards the person.

Besides, you see that big M at the bottom of the game. That means violence 99.9% of the time. The Sony PlayStation 3 is beginning to chip away at the 360's lead in both software and hardware sales in the US, and that system only seems to be picking up steam. In contrast, the 360 doesn't seem to have much real momentum these days.

While it's hard to find ways for Microsoft to get its mojo back, we can easily identify a few problem areas that are becoming clear as the 360 ages. These are the weaknesses in Microsoft's strategy that have to be addressed before the system can hope to get its groove back.

The fail of games today

This is why I love Pure Pwnage so much.

3 top 10 lists in one!!!!

Everyone has done it, so will I... THREE TIMES!!!

Top 10 best games i've ever played

10.) Bosconian
Arcade space shooter. Kill large green space stations by shooting them in their 6 balls or in their eye. Really fun to play

9.) Halo 2
Better than Halo 3. Great multiplayer, 2nd best storyline in Halo succeeded by Halo:CE. Overall the best Halo game out there to date.

8.) Call Of Duty 4
Good mixture of graphics, gameplay and replay value of a modern FPS makes this a great game to pick up.

7.) The Orange Box
Portal.. with extras!!.. and the extras happen to be 4 other games entirely. Team Fortress 2 and Half Life 2 + Episode 1 and 2 are really fun extras.

6.) Metal Gear Solid 4
Snake's final adventure! Amazing graphics andi sound with great gameplay and a close to a great series.

5.) Fallout 2
Post apocalyptic top down RPG shooter. Join the brotherhood or shoot up on jet this game has several different ways to end creating a great game with great replay value.

4.) Rock Band
Be a successful rock band minus the skill, money, fame or girls!! :( Incredibly fun on all components and difficulty and DLC creates near endless replay value.

3.) Tony Hawk's Underground (THUG)
The best installment in the Tony Hawk's franchise to date. The franchise has gone down the crapper since the newest generation of systems released and hasn't released anything good since American Wasteland and was killed by Skate. At least Neversoft is on Guitar Hero.

2.) Super Mario World
THE best Mario game ever. Not Super Mario 64, Totally not Galaxy (seriously WTF it's not that great). Difficult and easy. Speed running it is a blast.

1.) Final Fantasy VII
As of today, haven't found a game to beat it. Better than I, III, IV, VIII, IX, X, X-2 and XII. (those ones i've played.) No other RPG has implemented the AMAZING materia system and the story is magically delicious.
P.S.: I've beat this game 7 times so I've spent about a week of my life on this game.

-------------------------------------------------------

The top 10 games i think are good that i've never played

10.) Bioshock
I've heard this is fun. An FPS with some sort of magic system. It doesn't look like it's that great, but i'm gonna give it a fair shot. When it arrives for PS3, i'll probably rent it, maybe even buy it.

9.) Resistance 2
Apparently the competition for Gears of war 2. Really? I hope so. 64 multiplayer online and 12 person campaign. This is what Blu-ray was designed for.

8.) Fallout 3
Fallout 2 was incredibly fun and from what i've seen at E3, Bethesda seems to have taken the Fallout franchise and kept it running; and kept it running well. I look forward to this game a lot.

7.) Little Big Planet
Any game where you can custom make your own levels and mess with physics is great to me. I also really enjoy puzzle games (especially side scrollers!) and Sackboy looks to grasp enjoyment in my heart. (that was awkwardly emotional...)

6.) Killzone 2
This looks to be the Halo killer for PS3 and I hope it is. The multiplayer apparently has been well thought out and was a good percentage of the developers focus. Booyah!

5.) Rock Band 2
Rock Band all over again! I'm buying it. AC/DC is finally in a music game and with over 500 songs playable by the end of the year... I look forward to this.

4.) Super Mario RPG
Mario+RPG=Fail.. Nope! This idea worked tremendously well thanks to Square. From what i've seen this looks incredibly fun.

3.) Ys Book I and II
I've heard from sources that this is up there with FFVII in terms of enjoyment. And I'm always looking for a successor to FFVII.

2.) Final Fantasy VI
Might be better than VII, i don't know but I really want to find out.

1.) Disgaea 3
Haven't played the first 2 and this looks hillarious, fun and amazing. Plus it's the only recent RPG that keeps the top down idea.

-------------------------------------------------------

The top 10 worst games i've ever played

10.) The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
I feel so bad for this game, It has such good potential I gave it a chance and it failed... I got maybe 6 or 7 hours into the game and it had me double backing through a dungeon to get more monkeys. Thanks, but no. Hey Miyamoto, please put voice acting in the next Zelda game. This is your fifth generation system, I believe in you.

9.) Final Fantasy VIII
This game has one good feature. The card battle game thing. It's really not that fun, i haven't even killed the last boss cause i got bored. Sorry FFVIII, you're officially boring. Congratulations.

8.) Super Mario Bros. 2
So depressing that the second installment was a rip off of a semi-popular game in Japan. It was so not Mario style whatsoever. At least it introduced Birdo, and we have no idea what gender it is.

7.) Gran Turismo Series
Way too realistic. I want a racing video game, not Speed TV in a box. Let me drive on sand and not spin out immediately. That's retarded.

6.) Elder Scrolls: Oblivion
Whoever invented a first person RPG should be shot. Worst idea ever. Way too vast to not be an MMORPG. Hey.. spend a little more time and make this into a great game. You might've even killed World of Warcraft if you had've done that. Real smart thinking there.

5.) Pac & Pal
This is the most retarded pac-man game i've ever played. Play this, burn it an put back in Pac-Man.

 4.) Final Fantasy XII
Greatest game ever. Yeah no. This game is more overrated than Naruto. The class system is retarded. Oh cool i got this neat sword, oh wait i need a license and that takes way to much unnecessary time. Hey Square-Enix, That's fail move #2 next to buying out Enix.

3.) Haze
PS3's first attempt at a Halo killer. Terribly designed, The shotgun has the same scope as the SMG. (*ahem "caps lock") YOU CAN'T SHOOT THAT FAR WITH A FRIKKIN' SHOTGUN!

2.) The Bourne Conspiracy
Still proof movie based games suck. Push forward and alternate X and O and you beat the game in 3 hours. Congrats! You fail...

1.) Shadow The Hedgehog
Srsly WTF? This is my first experience with a Sonic game since Sonic 3d and man does this game suck. I played it for 2 days and wanted to switch it out at Blockbuster. I'd pretty much rather watch High School Musical 1 and 2 on purpose than have to play this garbage again.

MGS4 review

why not i don't got anything better to write about.

Solid Snake is back, but old as hell, got a frickin' awesome camo suit. Him and his friends like to talk a lot causing 3/4 of this game to be cutscenes. This isn't necessarily bad, for the previous installments had a lot of loose ends that had to be tied together in one game, This is an incredible feat for anyone, thankfully it was left to the great mind of Hideo Kojima.

The implementation of Shadow Moses Island was a selling point to me for it brought back childhood memories of MGS1. This part of the game was amazing, except for the large amount of "flood" robots crawling around the area.

This game although amazing, isn't a perfect game. The cutscenes get boring at times, and the controls weren't the greatest causing you to do crap you don't want to do.

9.2/10

gameplay:(5/5) Awesome. A little slow at the beginning, but worth it after that.

graphics:(5/5) Top of the line. Nothing is better than this on the market to date.

sound:(5/5) David Hayter and Harry Gregson-Williams. Google them.

controls:(4/5) The controls are well designed, but feels like controller DDR when trying to evade situations.

replay?:(4/5) I'd play this 2 maybe 3 times which is great, but MGS1 has a higher replay value to me.

We shall take off every zig, for great justice! All are base are never belong to you.
